The request

The client wanted several elements brought together into one considered gift arrangement. Some gifts had already been purchased and needed collecting. Others required sourcing and selection: a bouquet of 101 Ecuadorian red roses, a red wine suited to the recipient's taste, and a box of individually chosen chocolates.

The brief called for personal judgement as well as coordination. The bouquet needed to match the client's specifications, the wine needed to suit its recipient, and the presentation needed to feel complete.

A deadline shaped by supplier opening hours

The agreed deadline was 1pm, while OnlyRoses Knightsbridge opened at noon. Perissology liaised with the team to arrange for the bouquet to be ready in time, coordinating the floral order with the rest of the request.

A bouquet made to the brief

Darius and Caitlin liaised with OnlyRoses Knightsbridge to source the roses. They personally oversaw the bouquet being made, checking the arrangement against the client's requirements as it took shape.

That involvement carried the brief beyond placing an order. The finished bouquet was considered as a whole, with attention to the client's specifications and the way the roses would be presented.

Selections made with the recipient in mind

The client was initially unsure which wine to choose. Darius and Caitlin asked about wines that had been enjoyed before, using those preferences alongside research to make an informed selection at Harrods.

The chocolate brief began with broad preferences for milk, white and dark chocolate. Further questions helped the client clarify what they liked. Darius and Caitlin then personally selected each individual chocolate or truffle for the box, turning an uncertain starting point into a considered assortment.

Shaping the budget

The client had not settled on an overall spending figure. Perissology helped shape the budget using their understanding of the client and the request, bringing the choices into one overall arrangement.

Bringing the details together

Alongside the sourcing, Perissology collected the gifts the client had already purchased and arranged gift wrapping. Supplier liaison, selections, purchases and presentation were coordinated through Darius and Caitlin.

For this request, Perissology also arranged payment on the client's behalf. The client could deal with one point of contact throughout, instead of managing separate conversations and payments with each supplier.

The outcome

Darius and Caitlin personally delivered everything together, as the client had requested. The roses, selected wine and individual chocolates were brought together with the previously purchased gifts and the arranged wrapping. The client was delighted with the result.

The value lay in handling the whole arrangement: understanding what mattered to the client, making considered choices and following the details through in person.
